Emily completed a degree in Exercise Science at the University of Tasmania in 2017, before completing her Professional Honours in Exercise Physiology in 2018.

Emily has been registered with Exercise and Sports Science Australia since 2018 and is a current committee member for the Tasmanian branch. Since graduating she has worked as a Rehabilitation Consultant in the Occupational Rehabilitation sector, supporting employees and employers with return-to-work outcomes. Additionally, she has worked at a leisure facility in Devonport, implementing Exercise Physiology services for the local community. Emily is particularly interested in chronic disease and injury management, and occupational return to work programs, with a focus on improving functional capacities and quality of life.

Emily enjoys keeping fit by participating in Crossfit, as well as running and hiking locally which has led her to complete the Hobart Point to Pinnacle Half Marathon 3 times.
