Adam is an identifying Aboriginal man from the Gamillaroi peoples of Northwestern NSW with connections to Tamworth and Cassilis. Adam has lived however on Ngunnawal/Ngambri lands in Canberra (ACT) where he graduated at the University of Canberra (UC), attaining his bachelors degree in Physiotherapy in 2020.

Adam has a passion for Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander healthcare and was UC’s first Indigenous Physiotherapy graduate.
Adam has spent time working in both Canberra with Calvary John James hospital and also at Westmead Hospital in Western Sydney before moving to Burnie with his partner to seek further engagement with local community landing him at Coastal Physiotherapy at the start of 2022.

Adam has a keen interest and background in the following areas of Physiotherapy:

  • Orthopaedic rehabilitation.
  • Musculoskeletal including acute and chronic conditions.
  • Respiratory Physiotherapy – Bronchiectasis, Cystic Fibrosis, Asthma and general respiratory.
  • Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander healthcare across the spectrum.

Adam enjoys keeping himself active through running, hiking and has recently taken up playing AFL football again in the local league.
